I came to Amazon to buy one for my sister, who lives in Nevada, and I thought to write this review.
I had one of Daisy's Windsor Pilates DVDs a while ago, and I liked it, so I got this game to use with my son's Wii. I'm not much for games, but Pilates I know!
I thought this would be a fun way to get back into it, and it was! It's really easy to follow, and it even has tutorial videos on how to do each exercise (which was helpful for me, which are kind of like watching a DVD. Once you watch the tutorial, Daisy herself does the exercise with you, and you follow her movements. The more closely you match her timing, and the more perfectly you do the exercise, the better a score you get. Daisy talks to you as you do the workout, reminding you to concentrate on the muscles and if you're going too fast or too slow, helping you get the timing right. I like the music too, it's really calming.
I guess I should talk about how the game works. To do the exercises, you use both the remote thing and the board that came with Wii Fit. Well, not at the same time, some exercises use the board, others the remote. I think it said the board is optional, you can still do everything if you don't have it, but I have the board. It tracks your movements as you do each exercise, to make sure you're doing it right.
It was really perfect for me, starting out again in Pilates. There's a lot of different exercises, split over three difficulty levels. In the beginning, you pick one of the easy workout sets and follow the exercises, but then you can build your own sets, and make it as hard or easy a workout as you want. I've built my own sets, and am up to the second difficulty level now. :)
The whole thing takes place on a really pretty resort island. You can take a tour of the resort, and do exercises in each area. Plus, when you build your own workout sets, you get to pick which place on the island each exercise can be done in. I like the Island the best, its kind of like set off from the main resort, out in the water.
Oh, you can also change Daisy's outfit, she has a lot of pretty outfits you can choose from, which was fun. I'm kind of torn between the white and pink one or the purple one. Oh, you can also zoom in and out and move around while doing the exercises with her, which is really helpful. I was having a hard time getting the Bicycle timing right until I did that, I turned the view to the side and then I just moved my legs like Daisy was doing and I got it down perfect.
Like anything, even a fitness DVD, you get out of Pilates what you put into it, and this is game no different. If you're serious, I say go for it. |
I LOVE it!

| I don't know what these other reviewers are talking about - the game is easy to use and has more than 25 activities at 3 different levels, I'm loving the game. I found a good blend of routines and the tool to build my own routines. If you are interested in pilates on your Wii, this is the game to buy! |
Build Lower Ab Muscles

| While there are some good points in many of the other reviews and I wish I would have bought that game over the internet so I could have gotten it at half the price I paid I still feel like it was a good value. I don't have experience with pilates and while at time I got very frustrated with the scoring on the game because it said I wasnt doing the exercise at the right pace even though I was, I felt like I got a good lower body workout. Yes there are only ten exercises, and if you have a lot of experience with pilates it may be too simplistic for you. However if you are a beginner looking to work your abs this is a good game that will help you accomplish your goals for much less than you have probably spent on another game or dvd that did squat. I would enjoy if they did a sequel with more exercises. |

| This is a great way to get started doing pilates. I'm a beginner and it has helped strengthen my core muscles in a short time. It has helped me to loose some inches around my middle. I have recommended this to my friends and family. |
