For the first time in Rock Band I know all of the songs!

Who doesn't love the Beatles? This game was so well thought out, including snippets of conversation from recording sessions, great graphics, and rare photos and video. We have played with friends a few times and gotten so into it that we had to keep playing until we finished the game! I do think some of the songs are easier than other Rock Band songs, but that is helping me to work up to expert level in this game and then go back to Rock Band 2 at a higher level. The best part is that there isn't a song that I don't know or don't want to play. I can't wait for downloadable content.
Now that I have seen what the Rock Band 2 instruments are like, I feel cheated having bought the Special Value Edition. There is no value in this package at all; the instruments are inferior. Although the Beatles game is wonderful, my experience has been compromised by feeling that I have been ripped off by purchasing the special value edition. The Beatles game deserves 5 stars; the special value edition deserves 1.

I originally saw this in a large box store for $189, and using my android phone did a price check. Sure enough Amazon was listing the same package for just $99! That's what this box store was charging for 1 wireless guitar.
What's Inside? -
Anyway the kit includes the Beatles game, 1 guitar, drumset, and 1 mic.
What's not inside ? -
You don't get the little frills like the cloth "Beatles" kick drum banner (to make your drum set look official) or the nifty mic stand.
But I don't think those are worth $89, so I was happy to pass them up.
Gameplay -
its great. We are Beatles fanatics anyway, so its great to rock the songs we have been singing for years.
Shipping was fast too, I think it was 4 days from order to delivery. |
If your a fan, get it!!!! GH guitar works with it +++

| If you are a fan of the beatles, this is awesome!! As for the skill of the game, it seems to be a little easier than other band games. Maybe that is due to the fact that I already know all the songs by heart. They included real audio clips from actual events like the Ed Sullivan Show and also from recording studio sessions. The graphics are pretty great, and can sometimes be distracting when you're trying to ace a song (especially in the studio). I would recommend waiting through the loooooooooong credits (10 or so minutes) a nice little encore awaits. The best part of it for me was the fact that my GH guitar and Boogie Mic work with the game, AWESOME!!! |
It's quite good!

| It's quite good! Very enjoyable and good songs were picked to be on the game :) Bought this for my husband who is a HUGE Beatles fan and he loves it. In addition, I ordered this off of Amazon.com which was selling the game for [...]less than the stores AND had free shipping :) Great deal! |

I'm not old enough to really have heard many beatles songs, but when I saw this I thought it looked fun. So I got it for christmas, and immeadietly started playing it. It has a great selection of songs, and the instruments have easy assembly.
Most people in reviews say they don't like the game because the drums are wired. THAT DOESN'T MAKE A DIFFERENCE! It just means you have to plug it in to play.
Here's just a quick notice, it is a bad game for kids around 4 because of hand develpment.
Overall, a great game with beutiful backround. |
